Poldi:
Sad news – our livesound-engineer and friend Berthold „Poldi“ Kröker suddenly died on August 30th at the age of 53.
Poldi accompanied us during the first years of our career and was behind the mixing-console more often again in the recent years. He was also involved in a couple of studio-recordings. Most recently he provided fat sound at our show in Munich on July 31st.
Berthold was a loving father, a highly intelligent, open and tolerant person, always ready to have a good time. He was an excellent sound-enigneer with great accuracy and passion. And he was a talented, great guitarist – a master of noiserock who already at young age had some success and created great music with bands such as Evil Horde, Boy Eats Own Head, Tailgate and Ugh!.
Dear Poldi – we miss you! May the great skate park in the skies always welcome you cushioned on clouds - if not your jamsessions with Steve Albini drown out all the hate-filled, stupid shouting of the world in glorious volume.

Spotify:
It’s well known that the minimal income from streaming and downloads made things very difficult for most musicians. Well, we never let the circumstances put us down and always carry on.
But that the fortune Spotify ripped off from all of us gets now invested in murder and destruction – we all got the news Spotify founder Daniel Ek spends 600 Mio in killerdrones – is too much. We take our music away from Spotify.
US customs:
I’m sorry that due to the new USA customs regulations I will have to add aprox 30% customs/handling-costs to every order from the US. I will check the exact amount in the next days. I hope I can adjust the fees somewhat again when things have settled.
New Music:
Of course we are working on new music since a long time. We have big plans: a double album with one long track on every side. Each in a total linear arrangement (i.e. no part gets repeated anywhere in the same way) – a musical journey in which the end should also be a perfect match to the beginning so the songs can be played in circles. And also all 4 songs together should match and work as a big circle. But foremost the music should be accesible and catchy. Celebrating all good things full of positive energy it should grab your head, your heart and your legs. Sitting in the studio every day I hardly ever worked on compositions so intensivly before. I already rejected ideas, riffs, melodies, lyrics for several albums – only what seems the very best to me gets used.
3 songs are finished now in composition. For my personal taste it’s the best material since a long time and in abundance and form something completely new. I can’t wait until we can present it to you. But slowly…
This time we want to present the new album live before we record it in studio. For our upcoming tour with My Sleeping Karma we intend to play only the new album. Until then you can enjoy our recent nice „best off“-set – next shows are:
